Private Antenatal Care
During pregnancy, you are advised to access antenatal care. This is to ensure that you and baby remain well and also to give you information about your choices and options for birth.
As a mother of two daughters, I do understand that this can be both an exciting and anxious time for you. My aim is to give you expert care to ensure you have a positive pregnancy and birth experience. Pregnancy can be a worrying time and I want to help you to feel relaxed and confident throughout.
What Antenatal Care do we provide?
- Continuity of care from an experienced midwife who has worked within the hospital and community setting
- WhatsApp/phone support during pregnancy as needed
- Antenatal appointments lasting up to 2 hours in the comfort of your own home or a mutually agreeable place
- Appointments at approx 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 34, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41 and 42 weeks of pregnancy
- A health and wellbeing holistic assessment will be offered at every appointment. Including blood pressure, urinalysis, abdominal palpation and auscultation.
- Emotional wellbeing support
- Involvement of your chosen family members in your antenatal care if you wish
- Direct referrals to healthcare professionals or specialist services if required
- Parent/Antenatal Education is included
- Birth planning is included
- Infant feeding preparation is included

Mileage:
My consultation fees include a 20mile round trip expense from GL20 8. Any additional miles are charged at 50p/mile.
