Re-Division Of Scar Tissue Consultation
This is a consultation assessing for scar tissue following a previous frenulotomy performed by myself.
If scar tissue is causing ongoing feeding issues with restricting tongue movement, a re-division can be done at the same time.
Please note, I will not re-divide scar tissue before 4 weeks following the original Frenulotomy, as it can take this amount of time to fully heal.

What is scar tissue from a previous Tongue-Tie division?
Scar tissue can form after a tongue-tie division, sometimes leading to a re-restriction that requires another procedure, though this is rare and may be mistaken for the original issue. To help minimize scar tissue, frequent feeding is recommended, as it helps keep the tongue moving and reduces the risk of reattachment.

How much does it cost?
A consultation assessing for scar tissue following a previous frenulotomy performed by myself including a division is £70
The full fee (£195/£245) will be required if I have not assessed your baby previously.
Division costs?
If it is decided that a re-division is required the cost will be included in the £70 assessment fee.
Mileage:
My consultation fees include a 20mile round trip expense from GL20 8. Any additional miles are charged at 45p/mile.
